Business model

As an industrial producer of specialty ingredients for cosmetic manufacturers, ERCA WILMAR occupies a central position within the supply chain. On the upstream side, we source essential raw materials, primarily natural derivatives such as palm oil, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and corn or wheat starch, as well as a broad range of synthetic alcohols, acids, and ethoxylates.

On the downstream side, we serve a diverse array of industrial manufacturers producing a vast spectrum of personal care products. These include shampoos, white creams, rinse-off creams, hair care products, hair dyes, conditioners, lubricants, lipsticks, sunscreens, shaving creams, bath foams, makeup products, and high-performance spa cosmetics.

Our customer base comprises both global industry leaders and locally established small and medium-sized enterprises. To effectively serve this fragmented downstream market, our business model is built on an industrial platform of chemical plants, either directly owned by the company or by its shareholders, strategically located across Europe and Southeast Asia.

Additionally, our commercial and logistics platforms overlap and extend across key geographical regions, including EMEA, Southeast Asia, LATAM, and the US.
